About
Born and brought up in Kolkata (earlier Calcutta), India. As my thesis title suggests, I'm right now into too many things related to macaques in India. I'm studying only genetics for my doctoral research, however I started my career by observing monkey behaviour. I like observing individuals. I'd really like to come back into the field of behaviour after my PhD. My particular interest in behaviour includes understanding evolution of those traits which are thought to be, or at least claimed to be necessary for being human, viz. music, morality and religion.
